Selective Plating

Select-Tron Industries has been providing Selective Plating services since 1974.  Selective plating is an electrochemical process in which sections of a base metal is masked, except the area to receive plating, with a non-conductive material.  The masked surface, with a current running through it, is sprayed with a desired plating solution which adheres to the unmasked section.

Selective electroplating, also called brush electroplating (Electro Chemical Metalizing) is a metal/alloy deposition method for electroplating specific surfaces, without using an immersion tank system.

Selective plating techniques have been developed at Select-Tron Industries for those seemingly “impossible” applications.
